BENEFICIARY
All proceeds from this event, including funds raised by the Playhouse Auction, Ticket Sales, Raffle Prizes, Sponsorships, and the “Donate to Build a Playhouse for a Charity” event, will go to support Rebuilding Together Montgomery County, Inc. Rebuilding Together Montgomery County is a housing nonprofit that provides critical repairs, energy efficiency improvements, and accessibility modifications for low-income homeowners in Montgomery County. Our work keeps families living safely and independently in the homes they’ve worked hard to obtain, while also preserving affordable housing in our county and creating a stable environment in which children can grow up, and seniors can grow old. To learn more about Rebuilding Together Montgomery County, please go to www.rebuidlingtogethermc.org.

CHARITY HOUSE
When RTMC secures $15,000 in donations to buy shares of The Beach House Playhouse, that playhouse will be donated to The Arc Montgomery County.

The Arc Montgomery County provides a seamless delivery of child care and early intervention services for children with and without disabilities and special medical needs who are six weeks through 10 years old. This unique, fully-inclusive program supports children from many different cultural, socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds and leverages community resources and partnerships to help EVERY child develop to his or her fullest potential. The RTMC play house will occupy center stage in our outdoor play area and engage children in imaginative play while also developing their gross motor and socialization skills. We are thrilled to be the recipient of such a beautiful piece of functional artwork! Please visit our website at: www.thearcofmontgomerycounty.org

EMCEE
We are thrilled to have Lesli Foster from Channel 9 as our Emcee. Lesli Foster is an award-winning journalist and mainstay of Washington news as a Weeknight Anchor for WUSA9 evening broadcasts Monday through Friday. She also heads the WUSA9 Consumer Unit covering major consumer issues that affect area residents through digital, audio, and social media. Lesli joined the station in 2001 and has covered the major events of our times across the area.

PARKING/TRANSPORTATION
Parking is available in the garage behind Bloomingdale’s, as well as at other nearby shopping facilities. The Friendship Heights metro (red line) is immediately across the street from the plaza. For a map of Wisconsin Place, please click here.

COMMUNITY EVENTS ON THE PLAZA – OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
RESCHEDULED FOR MAY 17!
On May 17, 2014, Bloomingdale’s and Chico's Chevy Chase will make a donation to Rebuilding Together in the amount equal to 10% of your in-store purchase. Simply collect a voucher at the store entrance (or print one here - Bloomingdale's or Chico's), drop the voucher along with your duplicate receipt in one of the marked boxes at the exit of the store or on the Plaza by the playhouses and 10% of your purchase will be donated to Rebuilding Together Montgomery County.

Join us from 12pm – 4pm on the plaza for face painting and coloring stations for the kids, giveaways, as well as RTMC staff on hand to provide playhouse tours, sell raffle tickets, and answer questions about the playhouse auction.

We regret that weather conditions resulted in the cancellation of our originally scheduled event, but would like to thank the following performers for their interest:
